What Can Be Put In a Dumpster?

Acceptable Items:

While most items can be put into a dumpster, there are some items that should not be placed into a dumpster.  Here is a guide to what can typically be put into a dumpster.  If you are unsure, please call us and we will be happy to help.

We offer specific dumpsters for very heavy items, but these items can be disposed of in our dumpsters.

Electronics such as TVs, computers, printers, cell phones, tablets in small quantities can  be accepted, but please inquire with us before placing such items into the dumpster, as some landfills charge per item for these items.

Wooden furniture is always fine, but upholstered furniture is not always accepted.  There may be additional fees for disposing of such items. Please call us for more info.

Storm debris material is generally accepted as long as it is uncontaminated and does not contain hazardous materials.  Please check with us if you are unsure.

Tree limbs, shrubs, and other yard waste can be placed into a dumpster, but generally tree stumps are prohibited.  Please check with us before disposing of dirt, as some areas consider dirt a contaminated item and would charge an extra fee.
